I want to help you find your strong, so can get the most from life.

I can help you reach your ideal weight through sensible, sustainable lifestyle changes which you will be able to keep up over the long term, while still enjoying yourself.
You might have started feeling you’re not as fast or physically confident as you once were, or more injury prone. But you don’t need to accept limited mobility and declining physical health. I have an exercise referral certificate, meaning I’m licensed to accept referrals from the GP.
I can meet you where you are and design a program to help you steadily build or rebuild strength, flexibility, endurance, and, above all, confidence.
Building muscle doesn’t just just make you stronger, it improves you body composition – making you look better at any size – and helps you avoid injury. People of all ages can benefit from an appropriate strength training program. I can assess your current strength levels and design a program to help you improve your weak spots, whether you workout at the gym, at home or outdoors.
Physical activity and exercise is only half of the equation. The other side is nutrition and diet. What are you eating, and what effect is it having? It’s not about good and bad foods, but understanding what foods are more or less nutritious. It’s impossible to achieve a fitness or weight goal without knowing what’s going on with your nutrition. Many coaches leave this up to you – I’ll help you come up with meal and snack plans that not only give your body what it needs, but which you enjoy and can maintain over the long term.
Years of processed food can leave us with hidden vitamin and mineral deficiencies that can cause all sorts of issues, from minor inconveniences to chronic conditions affecting fertility and longevity. Some people naturally just don’t absorb as much of certain nutrients, and need more intake to compensate. I take a holistic approach to fitness, and understand the value of targeted supplementation as part of a healthy and active lifestyle.
Ultimately, personal training is not about just ‘losing weight’ or ‘gaining muscle’ – It’s about how you feel within yourself, day to day. Health doesn’t mean ‘not being ill’; it means feeling strong, positive, confident and energetic. It’s not just about avoiding the negative, but proactively seeking the positive.
